Alone. Together. Seemingly opposite states and yet in plain view everywhere. Never have there been more ways to connect and yet we are less connected than ever. The mission of these photographs is to hold a mirror to this phenomenon.
The juxtaposition of aloneness with others present is especially acute when a connection would require little effort but the moment is lost to our devices and we become serial captives of our aloneness.
I submit this collection in hopes of encouraging a commitment to participating in a more connected community. We are better together.
